BLENDING SEASON - The movie!!!!!

There are seasons for everything. And this is my season for bum-in-bakkie. HARVEST TIME! I pick from 66 vineyards and drive +/- 17 000 kilometers in 9 weeks. Timing of when to pick is everything! Like my son would say, I need to "lock in".

So, as it's not the season of writing long newsletters for me, I followed his advice and made a plan. In November every year I hide in a little wooden house on the Southernmost tip of the whole continent of Africa. Not to chill, but to make up my blends for bottling. This time round I locked-in and filmed the process for you with my phone and drone. I also curated a mixed case of 3 white blends for you - Elgin vs. Stellenbosch vs. Swartland.
