The MISFIT 2009

For this wine I never had the opportunity to do a write-up. The wine is the first that sold out before I could release it. I had the wine at a few tastings and it just flew from the warehouse... It is a 100% Carignan from a vineyard in the Swartland.

For this wine I never had the opportunity to do a write-up. The wine is the first that sold out before I could release it. I had the wine at a few tastings and it just flew from the warehouse… It is a 100% Carignan from a vineyard in the Swartland. The block is 15 years old, has no irrigation with very low yields. Fantastic quality. It's a rich wine with sweet juicy fruit. From the 2012 vintage onwards this wine will become a permanent wine within the BLANKbottle line-up.
